Make tadka: Heat together oil and ghee in a small skillet over medium heat. To a large pot set over medium-high heat, add ¼ cup of oil. After a few seconds, you will get a nice fragrance from whole spices. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.

Steps to make Kadhi:
  1. Step 1 For pakora, make a smooth slurry of gram flour by adding dry spices and dip diced potatoes and onions to it. Shallow fry it.keep it aside.
  2. Step 2 In a mixture jar add curd and gram flour and mix it well. You can also use whisker to mix it. Keep it aside.
  3. Step 3 In an another pan heat cooking oil. Let it heat up, add bay leaves,cumin seeds,dry red chillies coriander seeds,heeng to it.stir it constantly.
  4. Step 4 Now, add the curd and gram flour mixture to it with all above-mentioned ingredients.
  5. Step 5 Boil it in a low medium heat for 20- 30 minutes.
  6. Step 6 Simmer the gas, now add pakoras to it.
  7. Step 7 Before serving it garnish it with green coriander leaves. Serve it with hot rice.
  8. Ready to serve and ENJOY!

After a few seconds, you will get a nice fragrance from whole spices. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Switch off the heat and add ½ teaspoon red chili powder. Immediately, pour the tempering in the kadhi. To make kadhi, combine yogurt, gram flour, ginger-garlic-green chilli paste, remaining red chilli powder, remaining turmeric powder and salt in a bowl.
